The inspiration for these fingerless mitts was Eichendorff's "Mondnacht" (Moonlit Night) poem. The mercerised cotton thread makes this delicate lacey pattern shimmer like a carpet of blossoms in the moonlight.
The sizes are women’s XS/S, M/L, and XL/XXL to fit hands with up to 18, 20, and 22.5cm / 7 1/8, 7 7/8, and 8 7/8” circumference above thumb.
Cotton threads size 10-20 can be used for this pattern, as well as lace weight wool.
