This is a crochet pattern so you can make these very easy CROCHET MITTENS!
You can make these any size! Instructions are for women's size 6, but you are shown how a mitten is constructed, so you can make them any size by crocheting to fit, for instance, you work the main part of the mitten until when placed on the hand, it is time to form the thumb. After leaving the opening for the thumb, you finish the body of the mitten until you reach the tips of the fingers, then you decrease off. Then you go back and finish the thumb. You can make a pair of mittens in less than 2 hours, for adult size mittens. Knitting takes far longer than that! And requires 4 needles!
You can make these mittens using either SPORT WEIGHT or WORSTED WEIGHT YARN, the hook sizes are given for each.
