Mini Neck Warmer

This neck warmer is constructed using a wonderfully soft but stretchy rib stitch making. It gives it a perfect fit for a variety of sizes.

The neck warmer doesn’t take long to make and the result is very pleasing. It is made sideways, beginning and ending at the shoulder.

If you already know Tunisian crochet, this pattern should suit you well.

If you are new to Tunisian crochet, this pattern may present a challenge, but will not be impossible*. *Follow the directions and make sure, you use stitch markers. (Tunisian newbies should practice the Top Stitch and Reversed Top stitch before working on this pattern.)

STITCHES (US terms)

• Basic stitches: chain, slip stitch (optional).
• Special stitches: Top Stitch and Reversed Top Stitch. Tutorials in appendix.

HOOK

• 5 mm (US 8, UK 6). Use a Tunisian crochet hook or a regular straight hook.

YARN

• Worsted yarn with yardage 80m/50g (88yds/1.76oz).
• Yarn usage: around 100m (110 yds)
