MELINDA, girl's cotton sweater

MELINDA - a lovely and useful kid jumper in an aran-weight cotton or linen/cotton. A beautiful textured pattern in moss stitch with parts in plain knitting with tip-coloured stripes in plain knitting in reverse. The sleeves are one in plain knitting and the other in moss st - or they can be made both similar in moss st or plain knitting. The pattern is a written pattern with charts. Worked flat. Skill level measured from 1 (beginner) to 5 (advanged): 3. The measurements throughout the pattern are given in cm as well as inches.Sizes included in the pattern: 4 - 6 - 8 yrs

Material used by us: the dark blue one: our AGRIGENTO, 100 % Egyptian aran-weight cotton, 250 - 300 - 400 g of the main colour and 25 g each tip colour. 1 ball = 100 g - 150 meters (3½ oz - yardage: 47 yds per oz). Th lilac one: our NOTO, 50 % cotton/50 % linen - to work with 3 strands giving the work a more rustic surface and the shades become more soft.
