Maxi dress with stripes and colorwork

Maxi dress with skirt in mermaid shape, feminine and tight fit. The upper body has a beautiful colorwork and gorgeous lace edgings at neck and sleeves. The colorful yarn produces the beautiful vertical and horizontal stripes. The dress is worked with two fingering yarns and is very light but warm too. The skirt is worked sideways and is shaped with short rows. You can shorten the skirt or change the fit by adjusting the no. of sts and the position of the short rows. The dress is worked with two yarns, 1 strand of colorful yarn A and 1 strand of yarn B (MC1). It will be helpful before starting you knitting, to prepare balls winding the two yarns together, changing the colors of B yarn every time the shade on the colorful yarn A is changed.
