Mariner Del Rey

"Mariner Del Rey' is an intermediate pattern however adventurous beginners canattempt since there is video support, for the stitches used, in addition to the photo tutorial in the pattern.

The main stitch is a variation of the DC which uses a technique similar to “Solomon’s Knot”. The under bust section which is basically half a granny square, is worked first, then the area over the bust. Straps are added and the Picot Stitch is used to complete the top. The pattern is worked flat.

Instructions are written is US terminology, in "made to measure” format, meaning you will use your own measurements. There is reference to a 34” bust size throughout the pattern.

While the recommended yarn is DK weight (CascadeYarns Ultra Pima), any yarn weight and the corresponding hook can be used.
