Product Description
Margaret Double Layer Mittens are worked as one piece in the round. First you will work the inside mitten in your contrasting color top down then you will attach the main color and work the outer mitten bottom up. No seaming the pieces together!
The inside mitten is worked straight in St st, the outer mitten is worked in an eyelet lace pattern around the wrist and on the back side. Thumb sts for the inside mitten and the outer mitten will be picked up and worked separately. Kitchener St is used to seam the top of the mitten.
