Maple Moon Hat

Maple Moon Hat is designed in appreciation for the Sugar Maple Tree. For some the maple tree symbolizes balance, marking the changing of seasons with maple sapping in the spring, and striking visual colorings in autumn.

All sizes have been test knit, and tech edited!

Finished Hat Circumference:

S | M/L | XL

20”(51cm) | 21.3”(54cm) | 22.5”(57cm)

Fit Note: I prefer a snuggly fit hat that is 1-2” smaller than my head circumference. I have a 23” head circumference and chose size S.

Yarn: Light Sport Weight(5ply)

100% wool, 200yds(183m)/2 oz(50g)

(MC) Orange- 2 oz(50g) | 3 oz(85g) | 3 oz(85g)

(CC) Cream- 2 oz(50g) | 2 oz(50g) | 2 oz(50g)

Tools:

US 2/2.75mm(used for ribbing)

US 3/3.25mm(used for stranded colorwork)

Or needle size needed to obtain gauge.

Multiple colored stitch markers

Waste yarn or 2mm plastic tubing for provisional cast on/picot rolled hem
