Malthe Baby Selbu Mittens

These little baby mittens are made according to the norwegian Selbu mitten tradition. They are knitted two-stranded in the round using double pointed needles, and are approx. size 3-6 months.

In the examples I've used Alpakka-Silke by Sandnes Garn and dpns size 2.0 mm and 2.5 mm. You need approx. 20 grams MC and 10 grams CC.

**Gauge:**38 sts & 38 r per 10 cm/4"

**Measurements:**The finished mitten measures 13 cm (5”) total length; the hand 8 cm (3.1”) from tip to cuff, and the cuff 5.5 cm (2.1”). Hand circumference approx. 14 cm (5.5”).
