This toy is knitted flat and features simple shaping. The arms, legs and face are worked in stockinette stitch while the woolly bits are worked in garter stitch. Try using a fuzzy yarn for the fleece, to make an especially cuddly toy! To make the toy for a younger child, embroider the eyes.

Skills required include stockinette and garter stitches, k2tog, ssk, m1 increase, and mattress stitch. All pieces are knit flat, then seamed, stuffed, and assembled.

Yarn: 30 g of natural (MC) and 20 g of grey (CC) DK weight yarn

Needles and Notions: pair of 3.25 mm straight knitting needles, polyester stuffing, pair of 9 mm safety eyes or buttons, yarn to embroider face, tapestry needle
