Product Description
Vertical eyelet bands dash dynamically through the garter stitch body and towards the contrast colour border creating a sleek & simple lace shawl with a modern touch.
Lighthouse is worked from the top down, starting from the neck with a garter tab cast on. Increases are made on both sides for a generous crescent shape that sits steadily on the shoulders and is easy to tie around the neck in numerous ways.
Yarn: Two colours of fingering weight yarn (378 m / 414 yds of MC & 171 m / 188 yds of CC). Shown with Lakes Yarn and Fiber Silk Single Fingering in colourways Lutra (MC) and Sweet Clover (CC).
Stitches used: knit, kfb, yo, k2tog
Needles: Size 4 mm / US 6. Shawl is worked flat but 100 cm / 40 in circular needle is recommended to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
