Leaf Lace Pixie Bonnet

This leaf lace bonnet pattern will help you to make a bonnet exactly like the pictured one! The pattern is for newborn size, 0-3m, 3-6m, 6-12m, 12-24m, 2-4yrs, 4-6yrs and 6-10yrs! You will need yarn, knitting needles, a tapestry needle or corchet hook to weave in the yarn ends, a matching sewing thread, a sewing needle and two buttons for the button strap closure. Regarding the yarn and needle size – you really have to make a gauge swatch to find the right needle size to match the gauge! Otherwise the sizing will be way off! There is a yarn and needle size suggestions part in the pattern, but please treat that as a suggestion only and make a gauge swatch. You can use either long straight single pointed needles, or any circular needles - the hat is knit flat. You need to get the gauge to be 19st in 4inches (10cm) in stokcinette stitch.
