Product Description
The LAVRE TOP is part of the THE FIBRE CO.’s yarn support programme 2019. It’s a modern cropped summer top, which is a perfect layering piece to wear over comfy linen dresses or paired with high-waist denims or skirts. The yarn is the perfect combination of fibres to wear all year around: silk and linen give a summery feel and luxurious shine. As you hold 2 strands double for this top, you have a nice quick summer project. You start top down with the neckline and some short-row shaping, continue with the circular yoke and its beautiful little branches motif. After some additional rounds of raglan increases, you put the sleeve stitches on hold, and finish the body in reversed stockinette and a twisted-rib edging to match the neck. Finally , you pick up stitches for the sleeves and finish them with the twisted rib.
