Lacy Shells Baby Blanket

This is a pattern for a beginner level crochet baby blanket made with light worsted (category 3) yarn and size G/6 (4.25 mm) hook. Finished size is approximately 38 by 34 inches. This blanket might be "too lacy" for wrapping a baby, but it will make a lovely stroller cover. Also, if crocheted in white yarn, it will make a beautiful christening shawl. This blanket is very easy to make and involves only basic stitches. The pattern is written in English, using the US crochet terminology.
