Needles and Materials: – yarn Mondial Cable 8 (100% cotton; 300 m / 50 g [328 yds / 1.75 oz]) – 100 g [3.5 oz] total, yarn held single; – circular knitting needles in size 2 mm [US0] or other appropriate size to obtain gauge; – crochet hook 1.25 mm [US 12 steel]; – cable needles; – tapestry needle; – 4 buttons, diameter 10 mm [0.4 in].

Gauge: 34 sts and 40 rows/rounds = 10x10 cm [4x4 in], in Main Pattern on 2.0 mm [US0] needles, after blocking and stretched.
