**These little love birds snuggled in their nest would make a lovely holiday ornament! **

**The pattern also includes a spring-time version! **

**This ornament is very child friendly too, no pointy or breakable bits and the birds can come out of their little nest for some play time! **

Yarn:

Nest: Less than 50gm of #4 medium

Suggested: a less elastic yarn such as a fairly stiff cotton or a textured yarn works best in order for the nest to hold its shape.

Birds: Small amount of #2 fine (1 or 2 colours)

Flowers: Small amount of #2 fine (1 or more colours)

Leaves: Small amount of #2 fine (1 or more colours)

Heart: Small amount of #2 fine

Beaks & Feet: Small amount of #2 fine

Face: Scraps for embroidery
