Kyrrð is a hooded shawl knit with two different lace patterns; a leaf panel on each side of the hood and down both sides of the shawl, and a main pattern that also has a leaf motif.
It is knit from the top down using a figure eight cast on. It is knit back and forth which automatically closes the back of the hood so no seaming is necessary.
Gauge: One repeat of main pattern is 5.5 cm (about 2 and ¼ of an inch) wide and 6.5 cm (about 2.5 inches) long.
About 200 grams and 900 meters / 7 oz and 984 yards of lace weight yarn are needed.
