Knit-Look Waffle Blankets

About the Pattern: There’s something so luxurious about a waffle texture and although I have designed several waffle stitch patterns in the past, these use simple half double crochet to create more of a knit-look waffle effect. Since no post stitches are used, these blankets also have beautiful softness and drape and don’t use very much yardage.

Finished Size: You may make this blanket to any desired dimensions. Sample blankets measured approx. 36” long x 30” wide.

Materials: You may use yarn and hook of choice. Samples used… • Fingering weight merino – approx. 1250 yards • Crochet hook size F (3.75 mm)

Skill level: Easy Stitches used include ch, hdsl, hdc
