The colour stood out. I love it. I'm using it for a cable hat, neck warmer, and headband. It is very easy to work with and good thickness.
Quick and easy
I’ve used King Cole chunky loads of times nice wool I’ve knitted about 8 blankets in this wool from baby Blankets to double bed size it’s good quality and wouldn’t use anything else
I have been familiar with the EXCELLENT quality yarns == Bernat, Lion Brand, and Caron. But the King Cole is new to me. I LOVE it! Great weight for some projects, like scarves, because less bulky, than the (beloved!) Softee Chunky; so not too stiff... but heavier, though just as soft, as the Simply Soft. I will be buying much more in my future years, a new top favorite!! Can't wait to explore all the colors!

Soft and textured, slightly sheen Ed yarn that is a delight to knit. The garment knitted up perfectly. The construction of this yarn is gives really good stitch detail. Washable too. Gorgeous colour. Very reasonably priced.

The pattern is detailed and clear. There are a few photos included that are helpful. The yarn has a lovely feel to it. There are a hint of other colours in that make cabling stand out better than a plain navy. I really like this effect.

I really appreciate the value and easy-care features of this yarn. It comes in a lovely variety of colors, has a nice softness you do not always get with acrylic yarns, and knits up pretty well once you get the hang of the fiber’s “personality”. There is a bit of fuzziness to its texture that can make it difficult to knit with, as the yarn does not flow very freely but snags and sticks on itself, so I would probably not recommend this yarn for beginners as it can require a lot of patience and...
I absolutely loved working with this yarn, so much so that I have already reordered! My daughter wanted an oversized cardigan and she loves it. She told me since it got cold out, she's basically living in it. She said it's nice and warm as well as snuggly. Win win!
