Intermediate Crochet Pattern

Fun & simple crochet pattern for cute Kawaii Strawberries for soft toy play, decor or keychain charms.

You will need:

-3.5mm hook

-Tapestry Needle

-Any brand of cotton aran in the following colours;

Red, Brown & Green (I used Yarn & Colors Epic in Cardinal, Brownie & Pesto)

Small amount of pink DK yarn or embroidery thread for 'seeds'

-Toy Stuffing

-Scissors

-Stitch Marker (optional)

Abbreviations:

MR - Magic Ring (or Ch 2 & work into the 1st chain)

Ch - Chain

Slst - Slip Stitch

St/sts- Stitch/Stitches

( ) Stitch count at end of each round

Sc- single crochet

Hdc - Half Double Crochet

Inc - Single Crochet X 2 in the same stitch

Dec - Decrease across 2 stitches. I used invisible decreasing by going in the front loops only over the 2 stitches which stops your work from gapping, but you may use a regular decrease if you wish.

Notes: Worked in continuous rounds. Leaf stalk is crocheted separately and then sewed on to the top.
