Jalapeño Coffee/Tea Spoon Rug

Each morning I have been placing my coffee and tea spoons on paper towels. I realized that while I do recycle there is a better solution.

I dug out my graph paper and knitting needles and went to work. This is a wonderful replacement for the paper towel and matches so well...

Gauge is not important for this item. Smaller needles can be used for a smaller rug. I have a broken finger and these are the smallest needles I can handle.
