When I had to stay in hospital in 2015, I designed a sweater with a loose fit, an interesting border but with a bit of mindless knitting. But it took almost a year till everything was fine - real knitted sweaters and the pattern. Front and back of izzy are knitted flat in one piece. Of course you can knit it in two pieces - just cast off all stitches after finishing the upper border.
