Intarsia Heart Gift Bag

This is a pattern to create this simple and very cute gift bag. It is a perfect starter project for beginners to intarsia work and is also a quick knit for the more experienced colour worker looking to add a personal touch to a gift. The bag is knitted in two identical pieces, in stocking stitch and garter stitch. The intarsia design is worked from a knitting chart. The example and pattern shows it worked in a double knit weight yarn. It could be made in thicker yarn for a larger bag. It is finished with an i cord handle.
