Hythe Hat

Inspired by stark tree trunks and twisting branches, the Hythe Hat is a reversible two-color brioche hat in six sizes, from baby to adult extra-large.

Worked in two colors of your favorite fingering or sport weight yarn, Hythe starts with a 1x1 ribbed brim and moves smoothly into the tree trunk brioche motif. The motif flows smoothly through the crown shaping, allowing the tree trunks to, seemingly, converge. The two-color tree trunk motif yields a geometrical motif on the “wrong side,” plus, the tubular cast-on means the hat look great no matter which side you choose.
