Hygge cardigan

The cardigan is knitted top down, starting with the collar, wich is knitted in double knitted technique. Along the edge of the collar picked up the stitches for Back and shoulders. The Back, sleeves, shoulders and Fronts are knitted in ribbing 11 (slip stitch rib), Front panels are knitted in double knitted.

You will need: – yarn: Soft Donegal 2 pl (100% merino wool, 100 g – 190 m). – US 6 - 4 mm or other size to obtain gauge. – stitch markers, tapestry needle, stitch holder or waste yarn. – buttons, diameter 25-30 mm.

Gauge: 20 st and 30 rows to 4” (10 cm), on US6 (4mm) needles, in stockinette stitch, AFTER BLOCKING.

This cardigan is designed to have approx. 8-10cm/3,1-4 in of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 8-10cm/3,1-4 in larger in circumference than your bust measurement. For example,if you measure 90cm/35,5 in around your bust, you should knit a size 36.
