Horse Pony Knitting Pattern Snoo's Knits

Knit a mini horse with this easy pattern accessible to beginners. You could knit one for a farmyard, a Noah’s Ark, a Cowboys-and-Indians set or as a pony friend for a knitted doll. There is a separate Snoo’s Knits pattern for a doll to ride the horse.

Size: The horse stands approx. 12cm tall (4¾ inches). If you're looking for a larger toy, please see our unicorn pattern (23cm/9in tall).

Stitches used: kfb, k2tog, p2tog

You will need:

• Wool, 30g. I used Double Knit [8-6 ply, “light worsted”.] Tension square: 10cm x 10cm square is 24 stitches across and 32 rows.

• Knitting needles – I used UK size 11 [3.0mm, US size 2.5]

• Tapestry needle

• Stuffing
