Product Description
Honeycomb stitch wrist warmers, with integral thumb.
Use up your stash for this quick to knit fingerless mitten. Work quirky colour combinations, and odd pairs for a statement accessory. Knit extra-long to the elbow or short to the wrist, or work in a single colour to show case the honey comb texture
**Skills required: **You will need to be able to work a cable pattern and pick up stitches.
You will need: Yarn approx. 157m/170y in Aran weight wool
I used 100% Italian Merino Wool in Aran weight from Baruffa in oatmeal 302 colour (Machine Washable), approximately 3 x 50g balls (68m/74y per 50g) but you could use any Aran weight yarn. Be sure to check your tension and meterage.
**Dimensions: **The dimensions given are for a long wrist warmer, you can naturally make this longer or shorter by working more or less repeats as required.
**Tension: **In St St using 4½ mm (US 7) needles:
18sts x 22rows over 10 x 10cm (4 x 4in)
Adjust your needle size to match this tension.
A substitute yarn is below.
