Honeybear c2c blanket

I designed this corner to corner crochet blanket pattern for a friend of mine and wanted it to be a neutral pattern for a newborn baby. A blanket with a teddybear is a popular design, but I wanted it to have a fun feel about it too! I decided that a bear eating honey was a good place to start; the hive, honey jar and bee adding a bit more interest to the pattern. The blanket is a perfect size for a pram or car seat, measuring 30 x 30 inches ( 76 x 76 cm ).

When making the blanket, it is important that you know how to change colours in the C2C technique, there are numerous videos available online to help with this. I used Stylecraft dk yarn in Cream (177g) Gingerbread (65g), Parchment (50g), Walnut (20g), Silver (50g), Graphite (30g), Dandelion (15g), Lincoln (50g), (Approx amounts) and a 4.5mm hook.
