This isn’t a yarn. It’s a pattern and it was well written and easy to knit up.

Product Description
Homebody is knit from the top down, in one piece beginning at the neck. The top of the yoke is worked back and forth while neck shaping takes place. Then the remainder of the yoke, body and sleeves are worked in the round. Stitches for the neck trim are picked up and knit at the end.
It is intended to be worn with 3-7 inches (7-17 cm) of positive ease around the chest. The length of the body from the underarm is approximately 13.5 inches (34 cm). If you wish to lengthen it, you may need more yarn than provided below. Any aran to bulky yarn may be used (two suggestions are given) that knits to the pattern gauge which is 15.5 sts and 23 rows/rounds per 10 cm (after washing and drying).
The pattern includes a supplement for sizes L - 6X with optional instructions for making the front of the sweater larger than the back, in case that provides a better fit for you.
Homebody Knit Sweater by Heidi Kirrmaier
What Is Being Made
The Homebody is a knitted sweater designed by independent designer Heidi Kirrmaier. This garment is a versatile pullover sweater available in an extensive range of sizes, from XXS through 6X, making it accessible to a wide variety of body types. The sweater is intended to be worn with positive ease, providing a comfortable, relaxed fit rather than a fitted silhouette. The sample shown was knitted in size S with approximately 15 centimeters (6 inches) of positive ease around the chest.
Size Range and Fit
The Homebody offers twelve different size options with finished chest circumferences ranging from 83 centimeters (32½ inches) for the XXS size up to 181 centimeters (71 inches) for the 6X size. The design is intended to fit with 7 to 17 centimeters (3 to 7 inches) of positive ease around the chest, allowing for a comfortable, layering-friendly garment. Detailed measurement diagrams are provided within the pattern to assist knitters in selecting the most appropriate size for their desired fit.
Yarn and Materials
The Homebody is designed to be knitted using aran to chunky weight yarn. The pattern specifies yardage requirements that vary by size, ranging from 590 meters (640 yards) for the smallest size to 1550 meters (1680 yards) for the largest size. The sweater shown in the pattern was knitted using The Fibre Company Arranmore, a premium yarn blend consisting of 80% Merino wool, 10% silk, and 10% cashmere goat fiber, which provides both warmth and a luxurious drape. The pattern also accommodates alternative yarn options, allowing knitters to substitute with a combination of fingering or sport weight yarns held together to achieve the required pattern gauge, provided the total yardage remains consistent with the pattern specifications.
Knitting Techniques and Stitches
As a beginner-level knitting project, the Homebody employs fundamental knitting techniques suitable for those new to sweater construction. The pattern utilizes standard knitting stitches and shaping methods typical of contemporary sweater design. Knitters will work with 5.5 millimeter (US size) needles to achieve the appropriate gauge for the aran to chunky weight yarn specified in the pattern.
Skill Level
The Homebody is classified as a beginner-level knitting project, making it an excellent choice for knitters who are new to sweater construction or those seeking a straightforward, accessible design. Despite its beginner classification, the sweater offers the satisfaction of completing a wearable garment in a range of sizes.
