Holiday Snowman Magnet and Coaster

Two in one pattern for adorable winter holiday snowman magnet and coasters. Both are fun to crochet and work up pretty quickly. You will want to make at least one magnet and set of coasters for your own holiday decorating and several to give as gifts. Personalize the scarf to match any decor, school or team colors.

Great stash buster for worsted weight cotton yarn (I used Lily Sugar N' Cream- see yarn list for specific colors). White, about 10 yards per magnet or coaster; small amount of Black for the hat and face; small amounts of Red and Green (or your choice of colors) for the scarf; a tiny amount of Orange for the nose; a tiny amount of Blue contrast for the hat band.

Purchased holly berry mini embellishments adorn the hat (see magnet), or substitute ribbon (see coasters) or embroider french knots (not shown).

For the magnet: flexible magnet backing cut to 1.75" x 2" and craft glue.

Listed as intermediate, but a beginner with some experience should be able to follow this pattern.
