Hello Sailor!

I thought of this design while vacationing in Brittany - Bretagne. The traditional fisherman's jersey was my inspiration, but I wanted to add a fashion feel, and a vintage one. The sample is knit in cashmere, but I think that a yarn with rayon or linen or silk will work as well, or even better...

Hello Sailor! is a bottom up garment with a set-in, ¾ length sleeves and a cleverly constructed mid-front ruffle. It'[s knit flat but in one piece, with set in sleeves that can be knit in the round or flat.
