I’ve used this yarn many times. It’s great value for money. I’m making a blanket with it. It’s quite an easy design using garter stitch and just three colours. It’s going to be cosy when finished. I’ve done quite a few Aran jumpers in the past and the yarn works well.

I gave two stars because the texture of the yarn is smooth and I liked the color but I do not recommend purchasing it because the yarn company is dishonest. They labeled it as Aran weight yarn when in fact it was Sport weight yarn. That's Sport weight at 12 wpi (wraps per inch; wound around a pencil). Aran yarn is 8 wpi. It was impossible for me to use for my project so I asked for a refund. Thankfully Love crafts after seeing my photos and documentation about yarn size did refund me... to...
I'm going to make a shawl for a friend in Canada. It has a pretty colour called Peaches and how soft it is.
Lovely yarn to knit with. Orchard colour doesn't show the different coloured threads as much in life as in large sized picture but it's still a nice dark green for an Aran sleeveless waistcoat and true to normal size picture of the yarn.

As an experienced knitter and crocheter of over 60 decades, I'm familiar with Hayfield Bonus Aran. I have usually found it to be a good quality despite its budget price. However this last purchase is disappointing. I would not call this Aran, it's more like DK. It's thin and wthout substance. The colour is good, but not quite as dark as I would have liked, however I'm aware that ths is often due to computer screens inability to show true colours.
