Product Description
Haunt the memory in this graceful shawl, ideal for lingering in the lengthening shadows.
The Haunting Shawl is a slightly heart-shaped shawl, constructed like a traditional top-down triangle shawl, but with a slightly faster rate of increase to give a wider wingspan that curves elegantly around the wearer. The directions provided make for a very large shawl. It is, however, simple to re-size, and full instructions are provided for this.
Rated as in intermediate knit, the body lace is fast and intuitive to knit for experienced lace knitters, whilst a completely custom border and crochet/knit bind off (completed on your knitting needles) provides an interesting finish.
The sample in ghostly silver-grey used 960 metres/1050 yards of DyeForWool fingering/BFL superwash in the colourway, “Lab Rat Knocking on Heaven’s Door.” This requires 3 skeins. The pink version is in the Madeline Tosh in posy.
