Construction Technique

Happy Thoughts is worked from the bottom up in the round using circular knitting needles. The brim and body are constructed using short circular needles measuring 24 inches (60 cm). For the crown decreases, the designer employs the Magic Loop technique with a longer circular needle, though double-pointed needles can be substituted as an alternative method. This construction approach creates seamless, continuous rounds throughout the hat.
