Happy Endings Blanket Knitting Pattern

What Is Being Made

The Happy Endings is a knitted blanket designed by Fifty Four Ten Studio, available in six customizable sizes ranging from a Baby blanket measuring 26" wide by 30" long up to an XXL blanket measuring 50" wide by 62" long. This project is ideal for crafters seeking a substantial, cozy throw or nursery blanket with visual texture and dimension.

Craft and Skill Level

This is a knitting project classified as Easy skill level, making it accessible to intermediate knitters and those with foundational knitting experience. The pattern is straightforward enough for newer crafters to complete successfully while still producing a visually appealing finished piece.

Yarn and Materials

The Happy Endings pattern is designed specifically for bulky weight yarn (yarn weight category #5). The original project was created using Lion Brand 'Color Made Easy' in Shade #149, though this yarn has been discontinued. The pattern notes recommend selecting a bulky weight yarn with good stitch definition to ensure the stitch pattern displays clearly and beautifully in the finished blanket. The designer provides guidance on alternative bulky weight yarn options suitable for this project.

Stitches and Techniques

The Happy Endings pattern features a stitch pattern designed to showcase texture and visual interest. The specific stitch pattern benefits from yarn with strong stitch definition, allowing each row and motif to stand out clearly. This creates an attractive, dimensional fabric suitable for a display blanket or cozy throw.

Great customer service

Yarn is 100% acrylic and not a pleasure to work with, Has a tendency to separate and hang up on my needles.
