Sizing: A (B, C, D, E) HAT body circumference: A: 20.5”/ 52 cm B: 21.25”/ 54 cm C: 22”/ 56 cm D: 22.75”/ 58 cm E: 23.5” / 60 cm The sample in the photos is size C.
Gauge: 20 sts & 24 rows = 4” / 10 cm in colorwork pattern with larger (US 6 / 4 mm) needles.
You need 4 colors of DK weight yarn; approx. 13 g each for colorwork and approx. 60 g for brim and crown. A tip: you can also use fingering weight held double to get a sport/dk weight gauge.
