Green Leaf on Branch Shawl

1. I was inspired by summer and its green colour, leaves, flowers and the beauty of nature - we all love nature, we look good while wearing happiness and satisfaction from our work; also, green is the “calm” colour that relaxes giving hope and strength.
2. The pattern is written in simple format, so everyone can understand and follow.
3. The instructions also teaches how to adjust size for this particular pattern (create larger shawl, or smaller shawl), how to customize our work and teaches how to think and count.

Skill level: Intermediate

Sizing: Instructions are written for one size.

Wingspan: 120 cm/ 47 1/4 inch;

Height: 80 cm/ 31 1/2 inch;

Leaf with stem: 8.5 cm/ 3 1/8 inch width x 13 cm/ 5 1/8 inch length;

Materials: Brown (for branch and stem) = approx. 145 g/640 yards of sock yarn

Green (for leaves) = approx.. 135 g/600 yards of sock yarn

Needle size: 7US(4.5mm)

Notions: Safety pins or stitch holders.

Tension: 23 sts and 40 rows( 8.5 cm/ 3 1/8 inch) over patter
