Product Description
The lovely cable stitch on this hat reminds me of frost and ice designs. :) I quess I was subconsciously thinking about the approaching winter while I was working on it.
Finished Size: to fit a child or an average lady with head circumference of 21”-23”.
The hat is made in the round and does not have a seam.
The pattern includes both written instructions and a chart for the cable stitch.
Materials:
* 1 skein of Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice 100% acrylic yarn in Pale Grey or any other medium worsted yarn #4 (10 ply) * U.S. #7 (4.5 mm) circular needles (16” long) only for the border * U.S. #9 (5.5 mm) circular needles (16” long) * U.S. #9 double-pointed needles (a set of 4 or 5) to shape the top of the hat * a cable needle * a marker * a tapestry needle
Gauge: 4 sts per 1” in stockinette stitch
