Product Description
This shawl is an absolute pleasure to wear and looks great on everyone. The little textural waves let yarns catch the light and gives it a lot of depth. The simple no-lace/lace-style repeat is easy to memorize but keeps the knitting interesting.
Knitting is like therapy for me, and I’ve noticed that I’ve started to blend some of my favourite therapy-like practices in with my pattern writing.
Knitting is such a calming experience. It combines so many calming things, repetition, texture, intention, and it gives you something awesome to do with your hands. This shawl was designed with all that in mind. I needed something warm and soothing and comforting to knit and to wear as fall approached. Knitting has always been a way to reclaim and celebrate the weather changes for me and I am so grateful for it and all the little moments I get to spend knitting. I hope this project helps you in a similar way, in whatever way you need it.
