Grain

Grain is a seamless sweater worked top-down. The sweater has a round yoke with colorwork and long sleeves. Grain has positive ease and a cropped length hem with colorwork.

Choose a size with approx. 6’’ / 15 cm positive ease at bust circumference.

YarnBlacker Yarns Tamar 4-ply (100% British wool, 347 m/100 g), or other fingering weight yarn. Shown in color Gwindra (MC) and Tiddy Brook (CC).

2-2-2 (3-3-3-3) 4-4-4-4 skeins of MC and 1-1-1 (1-1-1-1) 1-1-1-2 skeins of CC.

NeedlesUS 4 (3.5 mm) - 40’’/100 cm long circular needles, and dpns if you prefer to work the sleeves with them. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the right gauge.

Gauge22 sts x 28 rnds = 4x4’’ / 10x10 cm in stockinette stitch, worked in the round (after blocking).
