Gourmet Crochet Hook Caddy Pattern

Crochet a creative fold-out crochet hook holder that holds and entire hook collection from tiny steel hooks to size Q. Scissors fob keeps scissors handy, while pocket holds tape measure, stitch markers and other accessories.

The whole thing folds up and buttons together into a case resembling a beautiful little clutch purse with roses and leaves on the flap.

Open case is about 15" x 15". Closed case is about 6" x 8".

Aran/worsted-weight yarn is recommended for the hook caddy body. For shell-stitch edging, flowers and leaves, small bits of any kinds of yarn leftovers may be used--fancy yarns if you have them are lovely, but any yarns may be used for the decorations holding multiple strands of thin yarns together if desired.

Six shank buttons approximately 3/8" across are needed. Hook caddy shown was made with vintage buttons--four pink ones for the pocket buttons, and two lavender ones for the outside front buttons. These buttons can be all the same or mixed as desired.
