Product Description
Knit our garter stitch Christmas stocking, it's 40cms from toe to top, so you can fit in a whole load of Christmas goodies in!
Knitted on 2 needles, it's a simple knit for those new to socks knitting. Techniques used include: cast on; knit stitch; short row shaping; pick up and knit and cast off. Everything is detailed in the pattern, so a great all ability pattern to try.
We used DROPS Alaska yarn to make the stockings, but you can use any comparable yarn, i.e. GGH Samson or Cascade 220. You will need 100g in the main colour; and 50g each in 2 contrast colours. You will also need a pair of 4.5mm knitting needles.
