Garnet

There are no center increases in this shawl. This creates a scooped shape that has a long wingspan and shallow depth. Because there are no increases (other than decorative within the lace) across the row it is important that your knitting not be too tight. Keep the stitches relaxed to allow for the best possible blocking results.

The shaping yarn overs (the YO adjacent to the 3-stitch garter edge) is worked through the back loop on the following row to minimize the eyelet.

Charts should be read from the right to left on RS (odd numbered) rows and from the left to the right for WS (even numbered) rows.
