This piece measures 22.5cm (8¾ inches) wide when laid flat and approximately 137.5cm (54 inches) in length, making it a generous, versatile accessory suitable for wrapping around the neck multiple times or wearing as a loose cowl.

Craft and Primary Techniques

This is a knitting project worked using the Fairisle method, a traditional colorwork technique that creates intricate patterned designs by stranding yarn. The Fairisle approach involves carrying multiple yarn colors across the row and picking up the appropriate color as needed to form the design. This technique produces a dense, textured fabric with excellent drape and durability, making it ideal for a cowl that will receive regular wear.
