Product Description
The Garden Party cowl is knit in a rustic fingering speckled wool dyed by [Knitley Road][1] in her cheerful Garden Party colorway. The speckles definitely hearken to the garden. Splashes of color everywhere!
The pattern uses smocked ribbing, twisted stitches, and a small amount of lace openwork. There is a free video tutorial for smocking stitches available here.
Gauge is not essential to this pattern. The sample is worked in US size 4 needles (3.5 mm), but adjusting up or a down a needle size, as you prefer, will work fine.
