Garden Hearts

Enjoy these two garden-themed hearts and make them up as ornaments, sachets, or strung up in a favorite spot. Treat yourself or give them as delightful gifts to those special ones in your life. Heart of Leaves has a lacy leaf on each side--outlined with stem stitch embroidery and surrounded by French knots. Other leaves are knitted up separately and attached to the heart’s top along with an i-cord hanger. Moss and Berries has a double moss stitch surface giving a wonderful texture to the heart. Berries hang down from i-cord stems, and at the ends of the hanging loop. Experiment with different color yarns for a unique garden full of hearts.

100% cotton, worsted weight yarn is suggested. 38-41 yards for each heart. Yards given are for a total of multiple colors.. No. 7 U.S. straight needles, no. 5 U.S. straight needles, and no. 5 U.S. double pointed needles are used along with a tapestry needle, fiber filling, and stitch holder.
