Product Description
The reversible headband is worked in the round. The chart is provided for the colorwork pattern. The cast on and bind off edges of the headband are joined using mattress stitch.
Sizes:
Size 1 (XS-S): circumference 46 cm (18’’), width 10 cm (4’’), to fit head circumference 51-54 cm (20’’ – 21.25’’).
Size 2 (M-L): circumference 50 cm (19.5’’), width 11 cm (4.25’’), to fit head circumference 55-58 cm (21.5’’ – 23’’).
Yarn: Jamieson's of Shetland Spindrift (100% wool; 105 m (115 yds)/25 g (0.88 oz)), 1 skein of each: Petrol 750, Splash 757, Caspian 760, Cloud 764, Apricot 435, Peach 440, Buttermilk 179, Natural White 104.
Needle Size: 3 mm (US size 3) circular needles, length 40 cm (15.75”).
Notions: stitch marker, tapestry needle.
Gauge: 32 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm (4”) in pattern using 3 mm (US size 3) needles.
Techniques used: Cast on, working in the round, knitting, Fairisle knitting, binding off, mattress stitch.
