Product Description
French Me is the third design in a collection of "Ooh la la Girl" patterns that have a French feel to them: lace elements, flaring, and ruffles; all created to be airy for the hot summer weather. With that in mind, all the models are knitted with a 4-ply yarn for an extra light feeling.
The top is knitted from top down. You will start with the collar, and will knit it in the round. After that the stitches are divided for front and back, and each piece is knitted flat to the armholes. Once both back and front are complete, the work is joined in the round once again.
The pattern has an intermediate difficulty. However the lace used here is very simple, and would be a good starting point for a beginner lace knitter.
Note on yarn selection: If you opt for other yarns, please make sure that you use soft cotton or cotton blend yarns as the pattern is specifically designed for them.
