Freeport

Freeport is a seamless vest knit all in one piece and features contrasting color stripes in the yoke. There are lots of interesting techniques used in this piece, such as:

-Using the Elizabeth Zimmerman Phony Seam technique to create a vertical fold in the fabric that mimics having side seams (although you can omit this technique if you prefer!). A photo tutorial link is included in the pattern.

-Contrasting color stripes work on WS rows in the yoke.

-Three-needle bind-off technique used to attach shoulders.

-Short rows used to create shawl collar.
