Francis the fisherman

This is a downloadable crochet pattern written using US crochet terms, it contains lots of step-by-step photos to help you. You will need to know how to do the following:

mr- magic ring

ch- chain

sl st- slip stitch

sc- single crochet

hdc- half double crochet

dc- double crochet

tr- treble crochet

inc- increase

invdec- invisible decrease

sc2tog- single crochet 2 together

hdc2tog- half double crochet 2 together

dc2tog- double crochet 2 together

BLO- back loops only

FLO- front loops only

You will need the following materials: ● DK yarn - I used Hayfield bonus DK in Peaches, White, Navy, Light grey mix, Bright lemon, Bottle green, Walnut, Pecan and a small amount of black for the fish eyes ● 3mm crochet hook ● 8mm black safety eyes ● Stuffing ● Yarn needle ● Stitch marker ● Pins to help with sewing ● Scissors ● 2mm aluminium armature wire for the arms- you could use pipe cleaners instead but you will need to wind them around each other to make it strong enough ● Pliers with wire cutters
